Footsteps of Ryder Cup
The Ryder Cup Matches have had a long and proud history, stretching back to the very first Matches staged in the USA in 1927. After so many years of such a fine tradition, Ireland is proud to have been part of that history by playing host to its first Ryder Cup Matches in the year 2006. Ireland’s magnificent K-Club is delighted to take its place amongst the venues on this prestigious list.

Day 1
Play Portmarnock old golf club. Universally acknowledged as one of the truly great links courses, Portmarnock is situated to the north side of Dublin, about 12 miles from the city centre. Its quality and location have made it a splendid venue for some of the game’s great events, from the British Amateur Championship of 1949, to the Canada Cup in 1960, quite apart the 1991 Walker Cup and 12 stagings of the revived Irish Open.

Day 2
Play the Ryder cup 2006 course.If ever a golf course reflected the personality of its architect, it is surely this Arnold Palmer designed course. It may seem odd to describe a golf course as charismatic and cavalier but from the instant you arrive at the first tee, you are enveloped by a unique atmosphere.

Day 3
Play the Island golf club. The Island Golf Club is one of Ireland's Premier Links Courses. A mere 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. This links course is located across the estuary from the quaint village of Malahide, just North of Portmarnock.

Enjoy the last day.
